Marlo Aguilar

While in college, studying computer science, Marlo shared some tamales he made with his classmates.  Blown away by how good they were, his peers suggested that Marlo should try to sell his tamales! Though he was not in a position to start a business at that time, the kind words of his college friends planted a seed that remained dormant until 2011, when Marlo finally started up El Chito Mexican Food.  Selling primarily at just a few farmers markets, Marlo's tamales starting growing in popularity and demand.  Today, you can find El Chito tamales at 8 different farmers markets, as well as several different bars.  His tamales are ranked as the best in Seattle on Yelp, and will soon be available at Metropolitan Markets around Seattle.
